The Junior Board is a fundraising group for kids of all ages. Our mission is “Kids Helping Kids”. The board meets on a quarterly basis to plan events for and with the patients of Ranken Jordan that are fun and diverse meeting all participants’ needs. There are three events the Junior Board participates in. If you are interested in becoming apart of the Junior Board fill out this online Junior Board Member Application.

To work with patients. Youth must be 16 years of age or older and commit to a minimum of two regular scheduled hours every week. Volunteers are also asked to commit to a minimum of 40 hours of service. Volunteers required to attend volunteer orientation complete a health screening prior to placement for volunteering.

Cardinal Ritter Senior Services

Application process includes a background screening and TB test.Most of our young volunteers help out in our activities departments - with arts and craft projects, playinggames with  residents, helping with various holiday parties, etc.  But we do also have some that come in and visit with residents on a regularbasis.  Our residents love the enthusiasm and excitement brought by

Center for Hearing & Speech:

We
have positions during the school year and during the summer.

Volunteers assist the Center for Hearing & Speech fulfill its mission (of enhancing
the quality of life for individuals with communication disorders) by providing
necessary support to staff, enabling them to increase both services clients receive
and the number of clients served.
Audiology Department aid: helps with clerical duties, cleaning and basic hearing aid
tasks
Volunteer for the Clinic Secretary: help secretary organize file charts, prepare
mailings and compile new client packages
Development Department Volunteer: Help with fundraising and marketing efforts
through creating flyers and handouts, copying materials and helping with mailings
School Screening Department Aid: help the school screening department with the
monthly school appointment mailings and prepare student paperwork
Speech-Language Volunteer: help the Center's speech-language pathologists prepare
for therapy sessions
